I find myself wondering if David made the right choice in welding/grinding a steel replacement for the cast aluminum bracket instead of doing a backyard foundry aluminum sand cast to make a new bracket.

I haven’t heard a single “vote yes” commercial and at least 50 “vote no” commercials as a MA resident. It’s also easier for people to say “no” than “yes” in America, so I bet even that piece was a result of intense lobbying by the automakers to get it on the “no” side of the ballot to allow them to run the shit ads…
If you pay attention you’ll notice the ads don’t even mention what Question 1 is ABOUT.
I wonder if they are going about this all wrong. Like is this a right to repair thing or is this an anti-trust thing?

The only problem I see is that the honest vote yes ads are on way less than the fearmongering bullshit no ads, which seem to be on like three times as often. Deep big-auto pockets for the ad budget.
