Same for me with the local dealers. Which is why we got a Santa Fe instead of a Sorento for our last car.

Same here - I thought the Telluride looked pretty cool but given it was new, dealers were marking them up and the horror stories I’ve heard of visiting their dealerships, I completely passed on it.  We ended up getting a 1-year old X5 xDrive40e for about the same price as a new Telluride.

Yah, it’s like glancing at a clock, analog that is. Once your brain is trained to know the ratios and relationships between the two hands and how it pertains to the function of the clock, you can see the hand positions for a split second and know what time it is.

If you look at modern aircraft displays, many of them have gone back to skeuomorphic engine displays because they are easier for pilots to glance at and quickly interpret the necessary information.

It’s janky.

The X5 absolutely printed money for BMW, at least in the US. It still stands as probably the best full-sized SUV from a design and function standpoint. For example: one of the few to still have a split tailgate. Even today’s model still looks pretty good, at least for the time being until it gets a new grille.

I love everything about this - can’t wait for more updates

Luckily there is no possible way for this feature to be abused.

This would immediately be the best looking Nissan sold in the US. Heck, badge it as an Infiniti if you need to, they don’t have much else going on, 

The Citroën SM is by far my favorite road trip car. The car is gorgeous inside and out, the ride is sublime, and the seats look and feel like a million bucks.
