Piano black needs to die as an interior accent. Someone needs to say it.

My ex had a ‘78 Corolla 2dr sedan with an automatic and it was a decent car; her dad had the same car but with the manual, which was a lot more fun. I almost bought a ‘78 Liftback with manual transmission, but couldn’t get a good deal from the dealer (and it was the color I called “baby poo gold”, so not my favorite…
The pop-up camper reminds me of the one Jeremy Clarkson designed for a Citroën CX Break back in the “Top Gear” days. This new one has the feature of dropping down, but I imagine will be as successful. (Clarkson’s went over a cliff, and I think this company may end up doing the same.)
My wife and I both had TDI Sportwagens (hers DSG, mine a manual) until VW bought them back for more than we paid for them. I do miss that car though; it was the perfect size and had great fuel economy.
Kia dealers are more like buy-here, pay-here lots. I like the EV6 but will not do business with the ones in my area.
NP, though you’d want to get it a little lower if possible to use on doing the electrics right. I’d reloom the car — less problems long term. Though I’d really want a Tiger (a neighbor had one when I was a kid), this would still be a lot of fun in the warm weather.
Yes! I rode one once and it was a truly odd bike. Many Kawis of that vintage had the “hinge frame” — my ex-BIL had a KZ1000 that was a Flexi-Flyer.
A friend’s dad was a motorman on the NYC subway system. He had a suicide on one of his runs, and it took over a year for him to get back in the cab again.
Neutral: Was this a new Disco, or an older one?
After someone was killed from ice coming off a vehicle, NH mandates clearing your car off. It’s a minimum $250 fine.
Agreed. It was just a bad idea to attempt to “photocopy” the formula to the US and hope it worked.
Tanner’s ego was too big to fit on-screen; I preferred Rutledge Wood. Even so it just didn’t gel the way the UK show did.
This is a “Oh hell nah” moment.
It still looks like the trucks I was drawing when I was five.
Style points for using the Ship of Theseus in a Jalop comment! (The last info I read from the Navy is 10-15% of the USS Constitution is original.)
Neutral: I remember the reports on WCBS-AM as a kid in the 60s when they’d report alternate side of the street parking was suspended. I also remember my grandparents having to do the street shuffle; they solved it by getting rid of their car and renting from Hertz when they needed a car. It was right around 1964 as my…
Awesome! This was one I was going to post.
Farago’s comment is all I can think of now when I see one of them now.
I owned a ‘79 convertible that had some ‘80 engine parts (probably made during model switchover). It was a fun little car to drive around in the summer. In general watch that the heater core is not rusted out as it’s almost impossible to replace (I bypassed mine). Given the car came from CA, body rust (nor the heater…
