As an owner of 2 TDIs, I will never bring the cars in for any fix that’s going to downgrade the performance or MPGs.

My wife and I both have ‘14 Jetta TDI Sportwagens (which of course are really Mk 6 Golfs). My wife bought her car first, and we test drove it and the equivalent Jetta sedan - the wagons felt closer to “Europe VW” as far as braking, handling and the seating, while content-delete sedan was horrible in all those aspects.
I owned a 914 back in the ‘80s. It was a sort of ‘70 model, as I built it out of 2 shells, some steel pipe and a welder. It also had a paint job that looked good from maybe 50 feet away!
I’m saving my pennies for a Frogeye; I have a picture of my 3 year old self standing in the driver’s seat of one my dad’s friends. As that was 1959, he probably had one of the early ones in the US.
This looks enormous compared to the ‘78 Accord I bought when I graduated from college. Edit - just looked it up - the Civic is 20" longer than my Accord!
They are only 90 minutes from my house; I have to take some classes there, even if it’s not in the brick!
Until he decides to run, my vote goes to Vermin Supreme, because I’ll get a pony.
My dad’s ‘65 Chevy Biscayne wagon had those too.
It’s a lot nicer looking than those Can-Am three wheelers IMHO.
I don’t think it’s any worse than riding a motorcycle, which is a plus in my book.
They have wizards working for them, of course.
Supercars and their fancy carbon fiber engine covers be damned, we have a clear winner here in the name of Abarth’s 300hp four cylinder rally car.
Will, you live in Cambridge and ate BK hot dogs? Don’t let the neighbors find out or they might make you move to Med-fuh or Rev-eeah.
I really like it, especially in red. Too bad it’s way above my pay grade.
Looking up the specs, the ‘60 Catalina was around 214" long and a 64" wide track (so say 72" or so wide body). That’s around the width of my 2004 Grand Cherokee and length of a new fullsize pickup truck.

A really long time ago (1970s) I worked for a trucking company where I ran the mule, mostly moving empty trailers to the correct docks for loading. I also worked at a marina, moving boats on trailers around in the yard.
I liked these when they came out, they were a good utilitarian car. That price is completely CP though.
