No, they did burn through an entire tank of gas, and as I said, it was incredibly consistent.

I dont know, I see a guy that worked his whole life and finally got to buy himself a nice-ish car.

80 consecutive quarter mile runs to burn through an entire tank of gas

Exacty!! GM made and advertised the Z06 as a track car. It should be able to handle it. ACR Vipers don’t overheat neither do GT3 Porsches.

They also ran Corvettes at LeMans, which is as real as it gets.

I get the convertible hate but I’d take the auto over the manual in this car every day. Its just too fast and too powerful to be effective with a manual. The Grand Sport and Stingray are much better cars to enjoy a manual transmission on.

You get what you pay for: small dollars, small fires.

Chevrolet truly has made the poor-man’s supercar. A REAL supercar would self-immolate instead of this namby-pamby overheating business.

Car prices and repair costs are what they are. Nobody is “raping” anybody, and they aren’t “overpriced." If you think it’s easy to make a fortune selling or repairing cars, I suggest you go into those lines of work.

if you can find me a 2 year old prius for 12k let me know, that is an awesome price.

I have a better idea. Buy a cheaper used car that’s within your means so you don’t have to buy solar panels and whore it out to other people just so you can afford to have it.

What you’re not accounting for is that the cost of a solar panel system with a Powerwall will run around $40,000 for an install that is big enough to run an average home. Leasing the system will avoid the upfront cost but the break-even is generally around 15 years.

walking lady: I wonder if they even know how to drive that fucking thing

lol we did what?

Sorry for reading your words ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I kinda figured someone would mention that.I guess I’m not shocked it was you.

I mean, my favorite car doesn’t have carpet anymore. Or windows. Or a full dashboard. But it has a cage!

We should use waterproof whale penis leather.

I'm not sure which was more terrifying: the actual spin, or every other corner in the two minutes leading up to the spin that had me on the edge of my seat knowing it was coming.
That's why you don't try to hang on to a Carrera GT, lol.
