Sounds like the hill is Waze too steep. People should navigate around it.

He said he is also surprised by how many of the buyers are women. ...

Or make it inversely proportional to price, for example:

Don’t many rural drivers just use their own vehicles and get reimbursed for mileage?

My dad just had an SE post-refresh so I thought the SSEi was the cats pajamas

Mine is in the mid/low 5s range with a completely bone stock engine. Buddy of mine in Minnesota runs 10s in the quarter with nothing but bolt-ons and e-85.

The LHS ended up being a cool car. I liked it until my mom got a call saying someone just saw her car racing a minivan on Bloomingdale Ave. It wasn’t hard to track me down since the LHS had my moms name, phone number and real estate info on the side of it. I did prove it was faster than Brett’s mom’s Sienna though.

I just love sleepers. I’ve owned a ton of sleepers, starting with a SHO.

In the years before I could drive, my parents almost bought a Bonneville SSEI, but decided on an LHS. I was greatly disappointed.

You and me on the Bonnevilles and the Mark 8s. And hookers.

My dad had the previous generation Bonneville so when that one came out I thought it was super cool. Plus we had just purchased 66 and 67 GTOs to restore so Pontiac was very hot to 12 year old me.

That’s so weird that one has it and the other doesn’t. Either way congrats on the Equinox…I was never a fan of domestic brands, but they’ve come a long way. And maybe with age I’ve become less of a brand snob and care more about value for money. And as far as just regular family haulers go, Chevy does it pretty well

I wish you could get the interior of the equinox with the exterior styling of the terrain. I think the latter looks pretty good and not quite as generic…but the interior on that thing looks like something out of the 90s. And those push/pull gear buttons…WHY?!

It’s not too bad looking either, unlike some recent crossovers... coughToyotaHRVcough

The guy who drives this only tells “dad jokes”. Knock it off Gary.

GM unveils new autonomous tech, commentators loose their minds over interior design. Zero discussion of the actual substance of the announcement. SMH.

Oh, it’s totally worth more. I’m just a greedy and cheap child

The State Police here bought a shit ton of them.

I was never in love, as the overall platform, and especially the interior, were a bit dated, but it was fine for what it was.

Yup. They weren’t looking for the next big thing, they were looking to keep the line producing cars until they officially closed. There were a couple missteps initially (no stick, no magnetic ride) but they added those and then let enthusiasts seek them out.
