“Slipped my mind”
Which sadly, is part of Volvo’s problem. Excellent product (and I mean that) with very little brand recognition in the mainstream. Thankfully, that is changing.

I find the “finally” to be a little hyperbolic. Their sales (Goodcarbadcar.net Thanks Mr. Cain!) of the Outlander have, for the most part, steadily increased month over month for the last 1.5 years or so and are trending upwards post refresh. Easily selling near 2K per month for 6 of the last 7 months. Are they…
I just saw it. The mirror (day/night) selector. On this expensive and supposedly nice vehicle, why? Shouldn’t it be electrochromatic while in mirror mode? I know it’s a little thing but even my Cruze has an auto dimming mirror.
Just ordered the laptop (because I didn’t just order one from Lenovo the other day and now have two coming) and I got an additional 80 bucks off of it for getting their credit rewards card! It says the deal of the day from Woot has been sold out but it still lists it as available from other sellers. Does this mean I…

Yes. A thousand times yes. And as the technology dude at my dealership, I teach people all about their new stuff. I expect they will use it but most don’t. Myself? I browse radio, select media, map a destination, find a POI, access SIRI (or other such thing) and many more things. I think if people really understood…
This. I completely agree with you. IFF they did all that. I will reserve final judgement for the first time I get to sit in it. Thanks for the perspective.
Though I agree with your analysis, I disagree that it couldn’t have been implemented somehow. The 2016 Malibu has an inset hood and it costs many thousands less. The fix for the issues you describe could have been moving the cut lines to the fenders (like on the Malibu). The front fascia would then have been stretched…
The front end has lost some character. Genuine, sculpted character that I think could have been easily saved. The inset hood, the recessed headlights, the less defined lower air dam, the taller looking and less pointed overall front end. I feel like the concept to production transition was excellent, however, I didn’t…
I have never been a Honda guy. I like Chevrolet’s. I’m biased as I work for a Chevy dealer. Having said that, I like this. If they can keep a mid grade truck priced similarly or lower than a comparable Colorado, I would be very interested. Though, I’m not all that sure what the current Ridgeline goes for. I assume…
Sad to see the recessed hood of the concept has been ditched in favor of a hood that goes all the way to the headlights. I’m sure there is a good reason for it. I don’t see one but I’m sure there is one. Even the base 2016 Malibu has a recessed hood (full fascia). Not saying that it’s the only way to build a car, it’s…
You had me there for a minute. I bet you woke up in a semi-panic. I know I would have. I had a dream once where someone gave me a Kia Sephia. Ooph. No.
Is this real life? Did this actually happen to you? If so, you poor thing! No excuse for landau tops. None. (My 1988 Lincoln Town Car with a factory half carriage roof excepting. And yes, I know that’s hypocritcal.)
