Backpack? I have done it. It's not ideal, but in a pinch, it works.

True. I was more concerned about parking though. Backpack works. I have done it. It's not ideal but it works.

Runs on fat, saves you money. Also, doesn't need a parking space.

It still all adds up. I go to work about 7 days per week because of what I do. 14 dollars per week doesn't sound like much, however, when you make shit money to start with, it sucks. Trying to rectify with new job. Not going so well so far.

I have done that. The only problem there is the extra gas/miles really adds up. It's not a cost I can incur right now. It is more interesting, though and I miss it. The country route is 11 miles longer one way.

Agreed. I have my fun car (Silver Miata) and it has a manual. I drive it on the weekends. For commuting? Auto is the way to go.

That's how I was when I bought it. I have my fun car. Didn't really need the manual, however, tried it anyway. The Powershift, in back to back testing, made use of the little power it had the most effectively. Keeping the engine in it's power band longer. Maybe I just suck at driving a manual, however, it was a

Coming from a previous Fiesta owner, I hope they fixed the DCT in those things. Or dropped it altogether. Great car, great fuel economy, decent driving dynamics (inspiring a smile or two) and an awful transmission.

That may be true, however, he made it sound like it was from the manufacturer. Something to the effect of "Toyota knows its cars are so good they give a lifetime warranty"

I had a Cruze and was very impressed with it as well. Should never have traded it. I often think that if people would just test drive things, they would see that things aren't what they seem. Or what they used to be.

Yeah, that one was pretty bad. Not sure what made them think that was acceptable. What boggles my mind even more is that people bought it. In large numbers. That says more about society than it does the car though.

Right. Nearly every manufacturer makes a reasonably quality vehicle these days. The market has demanded it. You would be hard pressed to find something that is a complete piece of shit off the lot.

Exactly. When I had my transmission issue with my Fiesta just recently, a friend of mine said "Should have bought a Corolla. My wife has one and it's so reliable! Toyota's never have any problems. That's why they come with a lifetime warranty!"

Colby Jack cheese.

Make Jagvar wear shoes? The world would end.

I'm currently investigating super bright, wide angle, LED reverse light replacement bulbs. The Fusion has absolutely horrible rear lighting elements.

You make logical sense. And this is a political discussion. That's just maddening. Thank you for being objective and seeing those candidates for who they are.

No sir, thank you.

TinyURL. It's good. It works. This linky? Not so much.
