Liz Lemon. She's not a Klanswoman, but she does think Tracy is illiterate and gets her Middle Eastern neighbor attacked by the police, just to cite two examples.

I think you killed me dead with that vase joke. Amazing.

I didn't think you were doubting me (and yes, Burt is the best way to address me). I think you made a wonderful point and I hoped to amplify it so everyone knows!

I don't know why I included the ellipses like I was doubting you, Burt (if I may call you that). Just figured I'd mention it since it took me all of 2 seconds to find on the 'Flix. I can see how you'd want to point to a clip of just that bit of dialogue, but for those of us without self-control, I want the whole

Oh, right! Yes, the entire episode is available in a few places—I just meant an isolated clip I could embed in this post. But yeah, if you have Netflix, etc. you can just watch "The Bubble" ep. Thanks!

Tina Fey is high priestess of everything.

That couldn't possible have been any more accidental than the line about "you can't have a Lemon party without old Dick!" was.

I'm happy people are finally paying attention, and it's great that Hannibal Buress called Cosby out and ignited new interest in the stories, but fuck people for not taking this seriously before— these rumors and lawsuits have been around for ages.

Does anyone else remember when Tracy Morgan was on SNL he did a segment called "Tracy Morgan's Black History"? I remember an episode where he called out The Cosby Show for their colorist casting (something I never noticed until he pointed it out, but yeah, most of the Huxtable kids have light skin). When I saw that

And that's the genius of the joke, it plays both ways equally well. Like a picture of a vase that turns into two heads who are actually rapists.

So did I. I'm a bit older than some, and I remember everything about the original allegations and that whole story. I remember this joke and thinking "OH SHIT."

I remember a woman accusing Cosby like ten years ago, when I was in college. It was a giant, giant deal amongst my dorky little clique who inhale media news, but then it kind of disappeared from mainstream conversation. I've never forgotten, though.

I remember that joke the first time I heard it and assumed it was directly referencing Cosby's rape allegations. The allegations have been following him around for years and years before this most recent round.

I'VE BEEN TO HER HOUSE!

"definitely wasn't an accusation that you could just toss around without receiving major backlash."

I believe it. The thing about 30 Rock is a lot of the jokes have an absurd number of layers, and the show's never been shy about sacred cows. Few sitcoms would have the balls to make their main character racist, let alone make it a running joke.

Marc Jacobs did this to you, didn't he? Mortal enemy.

Y'all can quit with the "attention seeking" bullshit, seriously. Nobody is giving her money, and this isn't going to help her career. Nobody's career has ever been helped by coming forward with a rape allegation. When there are 16 other women saying virtually the same thing, one woman's credibility isn't an issue.

Poor Janice has dealt with so much trauma and violation in her life. I'm glad she's been able to come forward and actually be believed, by some of us at least.
