HER FACE.

Back in the 1990s and early 2000s when Knightley went to school, Great Britain had a law known as Section 28. This was a "homosexuality propaganda" law (doesn't give GB a whole lot of leeway to condemn Russia now does it? Kettle, pot, black).

I have in a post on here already, I felt no need to actually give you such grace down to the idiotic stance you'd taken.

Excuse me for growing up gay under section 28, and remembering well the law and its repeal.

There are a lot of shitty laws in the records of every single country in existence. None of us have any ground to stand on in that regard. None of us. There's a shameful history of unspeakable cruelty behind every single human being, you and me included. But here's a significant point: people who have worked to repeal

They're generally not the cultural big deal that they are in the US and may not be called a prom. It's more like an end of year dance for the school leavers, you don't get any prom king/queen stuff and dumping pig's blood over people's heads like at a traditional American prom.

Wait...hold on for a moment...the British have proms? I thought proms were just an American thing. Have I been ignorant of prom history all my life?

I would much rather be embarrassed of a bad law than not learning from the obvious mistakes of that law. They struck that horrible law down and replaced it with one that protects everybody. They did that years before our Supreme Court struck down DOMA.

It was a dumb law, but it was only enacted in 1988, and repealed in 2000 for Scotland and 2003 for the rest of the UK.

"Undoing that insanely bullshit law doesn't absolve the UK from fault for passing it in the first place, nor for the massive harm it caused over its duration."

So the US can not call out Russia because some States still have laws just like one in Russia?

At least England's politicians can say they smartened up since 1990.

doesn't give GB a whole lot of leeway to condemn Russia now does it? Kettle, pot, black

No. Just no.

Cat callers have the same problem with women everywhere.

yeah, women should always look happy. Nobody wants to see a woman who isn't smiling!

Booooo, we can't watch and mock the video from outside the US.

Okay, her rap "voice" sounds even more fake live. Jesus CHRIST. RAP IN YOUR OWN DAMN ACCENT.

Just exposes the bad ones. I've seen a couple bands that were better live than on their studio albums. One being Pearl jam a long time ago and the other being Aerosmith a veeeeeerrrry long time ago. I know it's not cool to like either band these days, but I stand by their old live performances.
