I live in London, I haven't seen an a particular increase of British nationalism, maybe the odd Union Jack outside a pub or something but nothing overtly patriotic.

I hate Clarkson so much he is a vile piece of trash. So many people would love to see him fired as it is well known he is a racist, sexist posh twat. He was also caught saying the N-word on camera and calling an Asian man a 'Slope' in another episode.

I think in the UK many people would be cheering on whoever did it. We British have a proud tradition of taking joy in desecrating our flag, and may it never die out.
