“What I don’t understand is why, despite cultural differences, a lot of American anime fans see Keijo!!!!!!!! and laugh it off, unmoved that, in this show, women are valued at the sum total of their body parts.”

Honestly, I knew there was an issue with the game when I saw an ad for it during every football commercial break last week.

I guess instead of spending millions on prime time ads, they (publisher) should have hired some more folks to make the game right....

everythings gotta go open world now...its the new dark and gritty.

It’s not that the PC as a platform can’t. It’s that developers aren’t willing to put in the effort.

Sony is using obsolete technology to compete with state of the art, their shooting themselves in the foot and might do the same for the whole VR industry.

Nope. Goku has the mentality of a child. He likely has a learning disability, which is perfectly fine. It’s obvious, since when he dies, he’d rather stay dead and train in the afterlife than be with his family and friends. He doesn’t care that Gohan would grow up without a father, and he doesn’t even check on them

Interesting take, Nathan Grayson, or, as you’re better known, Jim Sterling.

i think armored core still has its identity. A lot of the older games became missile death spam, and they increased the importance of boosting to compensate for that. The game still is a hardcore customization game thats less about locking on and unloading, and more about dodging now, which is healthier for a

Doesn’t help when someone makes a real, critical but still positive review gets downvoted because they didn’t mindless praise the game or vice versa with a negative review that’s against the consensus.

I don’t think the wide swath of joke reviews are usually very helpful, yet they were the ones that got pushed up.

Valve doesn’t know how to dial it back. It’s either do it stupid, or don’t do it at all. They know no other way.

Agreed, people are being way too reactionary. I will say that Sony’s communication didn’t really help their case, though. No mention of improved framerates was really idiotic of them. If it’s for serious “pro gamers,” then the flagship feature should absolutely, 100% be higher framerates. I’ll take that over 4K any

I’m a huge PlayStation fanboy and I’m like... WTF is wrong with you Sony? You’re literally taking a huge leap here by being the first company in the history of gaming consoles to introduce a mid-gen upgrade like this, and this is what the fuck you put out?

Most of the droids involved in this discussion are non canon examples. Like the R4 thing: “R4-P17 is not an R4 unit” except that R4-P17 and the other R4 unit we saw in Episode 3 are the only R4's we’ve ever seen.

The other C2 droids you identified are not canon examples

The regulatory agency that granted those patents are incredibly negligent.

80's animation technically wasn't western. Up until the end of the decade Toei animation did pretty much every cartoon you remember from the 80's. That aesthetic is really down to a Japanese studio using a Japanese art style to draw Western characters for a Western audience.

Perspective- It is a movie poster and, as such, doesn’t need to be a big deal.
