That jab at Grabbed by the Ghoulies though.

But the article made a statement about all men. Why, in your brain, is it a somehow invalid or pathetic response to criticise a blanket statement?

Oh, I’m sorry, you’re right, we should just be happy that Capcom is a piece of shit company that no one likes because they make a little more money that if they actually put in effort.

How so? Just because a previous game has something that this one does not, does not mean it should have or fans deserve it.

Whoa, I thought that body type was completely unrealistic??? Somebody add more weight to them to make everyone more comfortable!

Everyone knows if your videogame’s cast isn’t all inclusive (all races, all genders which means male female, and trans) then you’re a horrible human being

“You will work long hours, be underappreciated and see your amazing bug that you spent six hours working on be swept aside and labelled Known Shippable. But you will also see your name in the credits, you will also realize that you contributed to something really cool, and you will also move on to another amazing

This has been my world for twelve years. I started, back when I was nineteen as a cattle-call tester. And then spent the next seven years rising the ranks of my particular agency. I’ve worked with the greats, Lucas, Popcap, Square, EA, etc... I was even the head QA on the Pokémon Online Card Game for a couple of years.

Man, 9$ an hours sounds like a dream...working in an outsourced QA in a country with low income, i made almost 2$ an hour. or what is lovely called minimum wage in Romania.

More often than not, a producer makes the final call if a particular bug is squashed pur not the closer one gets to ship date. The QA testers and leads can fight as hard as they can for a bug they feel is particularily game breaking. The producter tries to weigh the severity of the bug, if it can or cannot be patched

I worked in QA for a commercial software company. I got kicked out of an “all hands” meeting one day for telling the President the reason the ship date was not going to be met was that Engineering didn’t deliver the alpha code for testing until about two hours before the meeting.

Great article Jason. I worked QA for about 2 years on a couple of AAA titles and assisted on a couple of others. The studio I worked for thankfully respected QA for the most part and I had direct lines of communication to relevant programmers and producers (in some cases to the point of sitting in their offices for

It is difficult to 100% finish a game that is mediocre when there are so many games still on the backlist that are amazing. Not to mention recent releases (arkham knight) that are outright superior.

Apollo Justice gets a lot of crap from the fans, but I thought it was the best in a the series for a lot of stuff. For one, it used a higher resolution version of the pixel art style that I feel gives the series a lot of its charm. The 3D models in the latest games aren’t bad, but there’s definitely something lost

Well well, since you’ve made it so easy to compare back-to-back *Fake throat-clearing* Objection! Themes: Ranked!

New Ace Attorney better come West or I’m rioting.

I guess I am the only one that is ok with Doom 4 as is.

I think some things need work sure, but I can honestly defend what they did at Quakecon now. They didn’t want to show Doom to the public back then because this is EXACTLY what they feared, everyone being extremely over-critical and nitpicking every little detail

This. Don’t get why everyone had such a problem with it. As long as the gameplay was still traditional Doom a story set on Earth would’ve been great. Look at what they did with Wolfenstein: TNO; Old-fashioned gameplay, mixed with modern day storytelling.

I cannot stand the sight of women in men's suits.
