Yeah, it’s called Rose Tinted Glasses. Also: Hypocrisy, because Practical effects really don’t look any more realistic, often look just as easily fake, if the material is not made out of what the item is supposed actually be; lighting will be wrong;, are extremely limited in a lot of ways.

It’s all a construct of your

The PC port is clearly not a priroity. The 30FPS feels completely deliberate with teh quality of the rest of it. Not even a Titan X can hit 1080p60 completely at max settings.

Shame, because Mafia II was a great port, and ran well. As long as you didn’t use PhysX

WHY does it always have to be first person? Why cant it just keep the perspective it has? Like god looking down on people.

I want more VR games that aren’t first person.

Open world, no please.

Considering how good and tailored for PC the first two games were, this is disappointing.

“Most NES games do not hold up very well”

No, I think they do. The problem however, lies with you.

Duke3D remaster? It can’t even match eDuke3D HRP.

A travesty why? Because it wasn’t the SRPG you wanted?

No not really. They tried doing different things as they always did. The problem with AC is that Bandai Namco is a shitty company that can’t be bothered to give AC the same level of care as they gave to Dark Souls.

Other western companies weren’t much better.

As for Front Mission. The problem lies with you, the fan and

People can have a love hate relationship with games they love but are marred by other problems.

I spent almost 2000 hours playing MGO2 in MGS4. And I would rate the game negatively because of the massive shit storm of technical issues the game had. But I loved it. Still wishing they’d reboot it as a F2P game with none

Exactly. Joke reviews should be moderated and removed.

“That’s not to say it doesn’t make sense for Valve to bring reviews of Steam games, you know, inside Steam.”

But then that only benefits Steam by trying to make users buy on Steam if they want their opinion to count towards the score.. If you are going to allow purchases outside steam required to be redeemed on Steam.

A movie doesn’t have to have the budget of a Hollywood travesty to be a good film.

Beck is another great example of a LA Manga/Anime adaptation. As is Cromartie High School

The game doesn’t have graphics options, but it doesn’t really need them. If you could run the original game, which any decent modern card can. Then you won’t have an issue running the game.

RE6 whether you like it or not. *Looked* like a Resident Evil game. It has the charm and character all over it,even if the game isn’t a SH game.

RE is the classic franchise example of the tropes “It’s the same now it sucks” and “They changed it. Now it sucks”

Not that even a REMOTE fraction of existing content is actual, tangible HQ and native 4k.

The vast majority of content is either sub 4k 2k, sub 2k, interlaced, or streamed. Which can’t touch the bit rates possible on BD.

Finally we have a console palpably possible of finally hitting the 1080p Standard. And what do they do? They use it to try and do the same shit we’ve been suffering with for 1080p for a decade.

Checkerboard rendering looks like ass, fuzzy and soft. Just like R6-Seige.

And this is all because of collusion with the TV

PS4 Pro is MUCH more beneficial for 2k output.

Finally after a decade of sub 1080p rendering and shitty performance. We have a real shot at finally getting standard native 1920x1080 rendering with a stable framerate. Potentially even 60FPS. While still getting better visuals and IQ. 1080p output with great AA can

It’s all about selling points to the LCD through focus groups and reviewers. Better framerates don’t get you better reviews scores. That’s why Insomniac threw framerate out the window for a series of games that actually needs the framerate to play better.

It’s about what will get them that money and bonus metacritic
