Then you have shit taste.
Then you have shit taste.
Yes, but Zelda is worth the price of admission alone. You can’t say that for any pleb first party title from Microsoft. You might get away with saying that for Uncharted with Sony but...
This is true, but the differences today in modern 3D rendering performance and resolution. Are vastly more apparent than ever before.
The trilogy for 3DS is nearly perfect. Like the mobile versions though they completely fucked up the graphics by using copious amounts of DXT texture compression. Adding all kinds of noise and artifacts that shouldn’t exist in the beautiful art of the game, and DON’T exist in the prior DS/GBA versions.
Meanwhile,…
And yet he outright stated that no available free tools for indies could do what they wanted when they started. It’s a shitty situation. You can’t just up and start from scratch half way through on an indie game. ON an AAA game you could , like Doom 2016 did. But those are multi million dollar projects.
“it ends up an absurd artifact, instantly dated.”
That’s not a bad thing at ALL. If enough people like it, that’s all that matters.
What controls? Star Fox Zero has brilliant controls when it works. Which it does 80% of the time.
As if FS is the only one who gets a say in it. Scamco Bandai does too, why would they put any more money in when they can just sit back and still get paid?
So, if the changes don’t affect gameplay and are so inconsequential. WHY make them at all? The game isn’t aimed at a young audience anyway.
It has everything to do with censoship. Self censorship is still censorship and it doesn’t have to be by a governing authority.
Emulation =/= regular game playing requirements.
High single core clock speed & IPC are needed for Dolphin.
Those are ports.
Yeah, good luck enjoying SNES emulators on the DS. Most games run like shit and it’s filled with speed hacks.
But official stuff costs money, and NO ONE of them wants to actually invest time or money in such things.
The engine WAS a big problem though. It was a Japanese developer not entirely familiar with it, and shortly after they started EPIC ended support for UE3. So they had no help with problems, and UE3 has been known to have tons of problems with tons of games on all platforms.
All they have to do is a little extra work to take advantage of the improved hardware. It’s really not that hard. It benefits all players, not just people with 4k TVs
How is it cheating? The 360 came out less than 4 years after the original XBOX did, you didn’t see anyone bitching and moaning about that.
The Wii only lasted 5 years. The PS2 better at 6. And of these only the Wii maintained complete 100% compatibility with the previous platform.
You are buying a console, it’s going to…
As if 1080p TVs won’t benefit from much improved performance and image quality?
This means no more sub 1080p rendering games, hopefully vastly improved performance, better texture filtering and free SSAA.
You’d have to be naive to think that. The PS4 and XBO already run games like shit and will continue to run games at the same poor level they always have.
The XBO needs it even more since it runs almost every game worse and at lower resolutions.
