Yeah, good luck enjoying SNES emulators on the DS. Most games run like shit and it’s filled with speed hacks.

But official stuff costs money, and NO ONE of them wants to actually invest time or money in such things.
The engine WAS a big problem though. It was a Japanese developer not entirely familiar with it, and shortly after they started EPIC ended support for UE3. So they had no help with problems, and UE3 has been known to have tons of problems with tons of games on all platforms.
All they have to do is a little extra work to take advantage of the improved hardware. It’s really not that hard. It benefits all players, not just people with 4k TVs
How is it cheating? The 360 came out less than 4 years after the original XBOX did, you didn’t see anyone bitching and moaning about that.
The Wii only lasted 5 years. The PS2 better at 6. And of these only the Wii maintained complete 100% compatibility with the previous platform.
You are buying a console, it’s going to…
As if 1080p TVs won’t benefit from much improved performance and image quality?
This means no more sub 1080p rendering games, hopefully vastly improved performance, better texture filtering and free SSAA.
You’d have to be naive to think that. The PS4 and XBO already run games like shit and will continue to run games at the same poor level they always have.
The XBO needs it even more since it runs almost every game worse and at lower resolutions.
Right, because all of us are still wanting the sub par performance and almost always sub native resolution rendering of these toasters. We’ve been promised 1080p for over a decade and it’s still regularly a problem to acheive let ALONE with stable performance.
Why is there this misinformation surrounding this that you need a 4k TV to benefit? HDR is a gimmick (When displays have far more important things they could be improving on), if your game renders at a higher res, that will benefit 1080p more than 4k thanks to(if not done stupidly) essentially FREE SSAA. (4k with…
Not everyone’s situation is the same. When you have everything that won’t cause problems with W10, it works fine and great. But MSFT likes to act like it’s perfect for everything, but it’s not. There are a huge number of configurations, systems and programs that will not work.
And THEN there is the downright malicious…
Or you know, your hardware isn’t compatible with Windows 10, despite running things just fine. (Very few companies make drivers for LGA1366/X58 boards. Mine doesn’t. My 1st gen i7 at 4Ghz is still more than good enough for just about everything)
Or having important work or other things that only work on Windows 7 or…
“I think they’re doing fine without Quantum Break in their store,” he said.”
Yeah we are doing fine without that POS poor performing port.
You shouldn’t have to count bullets to be able to tell when a gun is running out. That’s bullshit.
And the average schmuck has the space to dedicate an entire room for it? Seated VR will be applicable to the vast majority and more than good enough. I prefer seated.
Enjoy all the issues a 250$ headset would come with. The display alone is very costly and HQ for the price you get. The motion blur performance of the displays in these is far superior and better to TVs that cost 3-5x as much.
Honestly though, HOW many average gamers have the space to dedicate an entire room to VR without things to run into and fall over?
Seated VR will always be more accessible because of this. And i’d prefer to sit or lay down anyway.

It’s not interesting if it’s more of the same aped generic crap that makes legitimate Sci-fi look bad.
Another generic and poorly developed setting with a generic story and poorly developed characters and plot that can’t ever step outside the box beyond what is focus tested and pandered to.
*Yawn*
