good lord.

"isn't ready to try vegetables"???? this is a thing? veggies were the FIRST things i gave my kids as babies, and all of my kids, even the picky teen-child, love their veggies. my 8 year old eats raw onion, garlic, mushrooms, tomatoes... they all love salads and bell peppers, carrots and broccoli, pea pods... i hate

i know that kid. he's my almost brother in law, and he's 19, and will only eat fries, breaded chicken, fish sticks, bacon, breakfast sausage, chips, and microwave popcorn. his birthday cake was a plain yellow cake with no frosting. i have never seen a vegetable pass his lips, ever.

having kids with food intolerances/sensitivities, my first thought on reading that was, "hmm... maybe soy allergy?" because i've grabbed stuff from my kids until i could check what was in it or just told them no because i know it has gluten or dairy in it.

i'm with Nicki on this one. i hate bras. i'm a 38C, and i haven't worn a bra in almost 6 months. i don't plan to start again, either. i occasionally wear a shelf-bra tank top, but that's it. i've gone braless under dresses, tank tops, sweatshirts, t-shirts...so comfy!

i haven't worn on in nearly 6 months. i just decided that i've hated the damn things since my mom made me start wearing one in 3rd grade, and i'm done. i sometimes wear the shelf-bra tank tops, but mostly, they just go free. i have rarely been so comfortable.

ouch.

exactly! that is one chill kitty.

ohhhhh... my almost-MIL put one of my cast iron skillets in the dishwasher once. i was not pleased.

that is so cute it should be illegal.

so... i'm cool because i was uncool before uncool was cool?

dude. lice is a total deal-breaker. i'm still scarred from having 4 kids + me getting the damn things all at the same time, 3 years ago.

but i wasn't last year!

i was simply responding to this portion of your comment "...I would not find a 32 year old woman willing to be with a 22 year old in any capacity. Just doesn't happen."

while it has little to do with anything, i'm a 33 year old woman and my partner is a 23 year old man. we've been together 5 years.

they're not made from batter, they are potato sticks dipped in batter so that they are a little crunchy once they're fried.

i've got 2 black cats, and i've had them for 8 years, since they were 4 week old kittens. they are the sweetest babies i've ever had. snuggly, lovey, and they follow me and my husband around like puppies.

i've been using cloth for ages. seriously, like the last 7 years. i get really heavy periods, so i usually buy a pack of pads to use when i go out, but around the house and on light days, i use the cloths. i used a stack of old cloth diapers that i had from the kids (just plain, big, squares of white cotton that i

yes! i do that with the glasses, too! but only on my left hand. if the glasses are the right size and shape, i can do 4 or even 5 (one on the wrist and/or one on top of the 3 in my hand). the only job i've found these things useful in besides serving is the one where people are always yelling "MOOOOOM" instead

ah. i believe there's the big difference. i worked mostly in non-chain restaurants and dinky little diners. even the kitchen guys got soda, snacks, and sometimes a beer.
