This comment reeks of insecurity. Detroit is the most corrupt and mismanaged city in the modern history of these United States. All it's eggs were in one basket and when that basket started getting holes in it, all hell broke loose. To state otherwise and insinuate that every other city is 'just as fucked up' is

I'm going to post this here and it may quite possibly be very unpopular and I have zero fucks to give in that case otherwise I wouldn't be posting it.

1. Are either of those related? Nope. Building a subway ≠ documenting the process. All I'm saying is HDR is overrated and not needed, if they had a photographer who knew what he was doing and took more time. Shouldn't be too hard if they tried.

OHMIGOD fucking Thank You! I've been saying that she was apparently crossing against the light in this thread and the original one on Gawker. Regardless, it was an ACCIDENT. Those thugs had nothing to do with it in the first place.

Yeah, the light was green. The blue truck driving in the opposite direction means that the Camry also had a green. The pedestrian was quite likely jay-walking

I don't see where anyone has mentioned that the car had a green traffic signal. There isn't any good way to tell who was in the crosswalk in the preceding seconds, but it appears the Camry was just going through at the tail end of the green and was surprised at having some dumbass human step out in front of them.

Not to absolve the Camry driver completely, but the pedestrian was not supposed to be crossing. The ped signal doesn't change to "walk" until about 5 seconds into the video.

My dad got a bone marrow transplant when I was two for ALL (he 28 just like Lyle's recipient). Now I'm 22 and my dad was alive until last month. My dad was so thankful every day to be alive and was an amazing father. Donating bone marrow isn't just saving one person's life, it's saving someone's dad, son, boyfriend,

Too bad you can't get several million dollar contract for saving someone's life. Seems a little more important than throwing a ball through a hoop or hitting one with a stick.

Saved from injury? Perhaps. Saved from death? What a load of nonsense.
