Fair play on your fanhood. But I think you’ve vastly misunderstood my position on American soccer. Your initial comment suggests that Bradley has never been “good” on the USMNT.

Newsflash: Bradley has been the best player on a team that advanced from the group stage at the last two World Cups. I imagine you’re the type of person that plays FIFA, and plays with only Barcelona, Real Madrid, or Bayern, huh?

No, it doesn’t. It means they clearly haven’t played soccer above an AYSO level.

Ahh, I misunderstood your initial point. I thought you were suggesting it might have been offside b/c of a Bradley flick/touch from other attacking player. Either way, atrocious defending from a really disappointing backline.

Now playing

That goal was a joke. I’m a big fan of Bradley, but his inability to get anything on that ball is terrible. And then, the defensive positioning by the back four? It looked like U-14 defending.

Including the World Cup - where the only thing people can focus on were the one or two costly mistakes that he made. Without him, we had no business in any of those games.

People who think Bradley has been bad are those that have never played soccer before. Dude has been our best player for the past 3 years.

I haven’t deleted anything. Must be the Kinja Gestapo.

Wah.

Perhaps you should watch any single NBA/NCAA game, and then report your findings to the NBA/NCAA Rules Committees.

Sorry to burst your bubble, big guy, but the game has changed a little bit since the Great Depression.

Yeah, the refs should’ve called 117 turnovers on Walkup today, because that’s how many times he touched the ball! Good job, good effort.

Seriously? If you want to call palming the ball in the last minute of a Round of 32 game, then I think you have about 3,000 other solid opportunities throughout the NCAA tournament.

What really ruined everything was the trigger-happy officiating under a minute to play. In particular, the loose-ball rebounding “foul” on SFA, and the “foul” on Jackson under the basket.

“Only $3.6 mil?”

Hellufa region. I’m personally looking forward to the Sweet 16 match between Lt. Charlene Sprinkle-Huff and Dr. Shark Bird. Fantastic 12 seed upset potential from LC S-H.

I’m Spurs, and it’s hard to disagree that Dier was fortunate there. To be fair, though, Giroud threw his arms around Dier’s neck on the turn, which is what created the space in the first place. And, yes, Bellerin’s was just as egregious as Coquelin’s. Great match overall though - feels like Spurs lost.

Wonderful contribution, as always, from a Gooner.

“I remember my first apple cider.”

I don’t disagree with your conclusion. It’s just that, assuming/hoping for 4-6 points from away at the Etihad and away at the Emirates is a pretty lofty goal. Considering Leicester’s style (sit back and put 9 behind the ball, take advantage of counters), I think they’d do great to get 2-3 points.
