When I hear about somebody chopping up a Camaro, I usually cringe, but this is really cool! The bodywork all looks good, the idea is cool, and the shape is still absolutely unmistakeable. This guy probably did a great job on it and I hope this car makes it to a good home.

[Shameless self-promotion]

So cool! I love guys like this and their crazy concoctions.

Fantastic work, guys.

I understand that they didn't design custom suspension/chassis/drivetrain/etc. for it, but it does take time to build something that's movie-quality, especially enough so that they can destroy a few. You don't have to be condescending either ("sad that you can't see it as I do").

Yes, I think it's strange.

Yep, they really went backwards with that design.

Fair enough.

Exactly what came to mind. I've seen it in person a few times!

You can include tolerance when you work on drawings, at least in SolidWorks.

I'm right there with you.

Perfect. Absolutely perfect.

I drive a Mk2 8V Golf GL. The odometer stopped working at 130,000 miles, before the last owner bought the car to use as a highway driver, so god only knows how many miles are on it. I have had no problems with the car. It also helps that they're non-interference engines, so if the timing belt goes, nothing should get
