The Mk2s really do seem to keep puttering along, don't they? And the styling really is sweet.
An excellent choice.
Tell me about it.
Pray tell.
Don't get me wrong - I love me an Elf or a Mini in any trim, and I'd pay too much for one, but I wouldn't go this far. $27,000 is a fortune for an Elf! You can find this is pretty good shape for $8-15 grand.
Indeed.
And this is the "find similar" result: more photos!
It definitely looks good! I'm right there with you.
I spent this Tuesday replacing a clutch fork in my good friend's 1973 Volvo 145 wagon. It's one of the sweetest rides around - huge iPd sways front and rear, Panasports, fuel injection (D-Jet!), 4-speed - super cool.

Yep, all subtlety lost.
Seriously! It was fantastic before! This has to be one of the most beige cars on the road now.
Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but I happen to think the Mk4 was one of the best-looking Golfs! I'm probably drive one if I could afford it, but I have a Mk2.
Wow, thanks for choosing my suggestion! I'd really love to have a 2002. Or a B-GT. Or a Z. Or a 510. Quite a good list!
