Alfa Romeo Giulia (in any of the many trims) - sweet little road car, sweet little racer. May not have been the best car (I actually have no idea if they were reliable or not), but hot damn does it look pretty.

The Mk2s really do seem to keep puttering along, don't they? And the styling really is sweet.

Don't get me wrong - I love me an Elf or a Mini in any trim, and I'd pay too much for one, but I wouldn't go this far. $27,000 is a fortune for an Elf! You can find this is pretty good shape for $8-15 grand.

I spent this Tuesday replacing a clutch fork in my good friend's 1973 Volvo 145 wagon. It's one of the sweetest rides around - huge iPd sways front and rear, Panasports, fuel injection (D-Jet!), 4-speed - super cool.

Maybe I'm the only one but I think that side profile is fantastic! Of course the wheels are weird and the front is a little strange but I actually like the design. I think they'll have to do something with the front end to make it a little less busy though.

Everybody is entitled to an opinion, but I happen to think the Mk4 was one of the best-looking Golfs! I'm probably drive one if I could afford it, but I have a Mk2.
