To make it worse for Lucroy, he dropped a ball from Semien at a play at the plate the previous at bat.  It wasn’t a great throw, but he’s a major league catcher, he should be making that play.  Then, to have this shit happen, man.  Rough half inning.

The fact that the Indians haven’t traded for a bullpen piece yet is absolutely baffling. And Francona just threw their top prospect under the bus this past weekend, seemingly opening him up to be included for Hand/Iglesias/whoever, and yet, here we are. Bauer was unhittable tonight and it was completely wasted.

While I have no insider knowledge to dispute it, that could be Kerr saving face.  Unable to find articles now but, when this thing went down the first time, everyone in Cleveland was reporting that Gilbert stopped the trade from happening.  Either way, that sucked and it woulda been cool to see Amar’e and Lebron play…

From what I remember, Dan Gilbert was the one that killed the trade despite it being agreed upon by the gms.

Remember when the Cavs wouldn’t trade JJ Hickson for Amar’e during Lebron’s first tenure with the Cavs?  That sucked.
