As someone who is an average road driver at best, watching the WRC is both exciting and terrifying. I can’t imagine doing what they do in any way.

rally is the best motorsport.

There are about 30 stage rallies currently held within the U.S, all with little more than banner tape (or occasionally snow fence) between competitors and spectators. And the WRC already sells spectator tickets at some events. Check out the ticket prices for Rally GB for example.

Pretty sure Turkey threatened to release more refugees into Europe if they don’t get a WRC event.

Yeah, I raised an eyebrow at Turkey for that reason. I’d love to see their F1 track make a return as well, but some of the things that are happening under Erdogan make it an automatic no-thanks-for-now.
