The 911 was alway meant to be a rally car.
The 911 was alway meant to be a rally car.
I’m completely addicted. The streams are amazing and the racing is off the hook.
In my opinion World Rallycross is the best racing in the world currently. The fact that they make the events so easy to watch by posting all of them onto YouTube just makes it even better.
Not sure about Global Rallycross, but WorldRX usually has about 20,000-40,000 people in attendance, with another 2-3 million watching.
Need some more motorsports coverage to binge on before the dreaded offseason begins? A live stream for the FIA World…
Just gonna say: spin-off the World Grand Prix. It’s the best bit about Cars 2, which was criminally under-used. It would be a good way to introduce kids to the different classes of motorsport and their histories, and with real drivers lending their voices, can also bring some iconic cars to life.
Well, balls. I think I misheard that last night. I’ll edit above, then. Thanks!
I know I’m going to get rinsed for this as I’m posting on a US based website but I’m seriously pissed at the US government for this. Audi leaving WEC and VW leaving WRC is a big loss for Motorsport. I guess we can thank the US and dieselgate for that. The penalty VW got was huge in comparison to the one GM got for…
Not unless they get Ogier. I don’t see their car being on par until at least 2018, and at the moment their top driver is Hanninen, who I doubt could win a title even in a VW. Hyundai on the other hand has been right there all season and easily the best team after VW
Fafe!
Does an average american even fit into a polo? :P
BREAKING: VW to pull out of the automaking business!
And here I was, just last night, catching up on WRC, marveling at the Polo R.
VW getting out could drop the costs down enough for Ford to back M-Sport again. Or so I wish.
I really hope it’s more of a re-branding and the 2017 program runs under Skoda. The VW WRC program was a cynical branding concept (maybe it was necessary to get the budget for a competitive WRC program) anyway and it should have been Skoda all along.
M-Sport is basically a privateer team at this point. I do expect the new car to be more competitive than the current car, which hasn’t seen nearly the development of its competitors. I am really impressed with what M-Sport is able to achieve. They run Bentley’s factory and customer GT3 programs as well as developing…
Worried that Porsche might be next. I completely understand why they pulled audi, the diesel connection, and it doesn’t really make sense to have your brands competing against one another, other than it made for some DAMN good racing. Porsche has direct lineage from racing to the cars it produces...audi not so much.…
