The current VW Passat is available with a 1.4 TSI and is the same size as the V70. The displacement of the 1.4 TSI is only 1390 cc. For those that only speak in old school units: 1390 cc = 85 cubic inches.

The aspect ratio of this video makes me think we are watching some mid 80's bertone spec race. Everything is long, flat and wide looking.

I wonder why they'd rallycross a FWD Celica 2.0 GTi (VIN ST162) instead of the top trim AWD 4wd Turbo (VIN ST165). If it weren't for the fact that the commentator says that the Audi is the only AWD car in the race I'd say it's an ST165 given how quick it is (the N/A 3S-GE is pretty lame in comparison to the turbo

I love rallycross like I love Goodwood. a 1970s formula car, a 1990s rally car and a 2000s GT1 car cutting almost the same times and the drivers clawing for every tenth to make it happen.

That you don't need snow tires if you have all-season tires on your car. If you live in an area that gets significant snow you need snow tires. Possible exception might be for AWD vehicles, but they'd benefit from snows too if not as much.
