I doubt it. With Loeb happy and committed to the less time-consuming, overlapping WorldRX, I don’t think he will do more than what is already planned. Maybe next year if Citroën continues.

The FIA World Rallycross Championship is live on Youtube (might be geoblocked) on sunday:

You rarely see someone screw up something that promising so badly. ARX has all the potential to do better, hopefully including the grassroot motorsport better than GRC did.

WorldRX already held a couple of rounds in Argentina, but the round here was dropped after 2016. It always seemed popular with the spectators and Argentina has a healthy national series, meaning they could arrange the last round? I also hope they have another track planned in the US.

In the case of GRC, I think it is because they modified the sport a bit too much. While IMG also changes FIA RX, they stay true to the roots of the sport. GRC events are held on parking lots, while FIA builds permanent tracks when they go to a new place. Not only does it mean that the quality of the track and racing

RallyX On Ice Round 3 is streamed on https://motorsport.tv/and https://www.svtplay.se/ tomorrow at 13:00 CET. It features drivers from WorldRX and supporting series’, in addition to guest drivers from other discliplines.

All of it behind the rear doors, of course. We need another 265 Transfer.

I’m a bit divided on this. On one hand I don’t mind Ogier struggling a bit, as he’s had luck with the conditions in Sweden earlier. On the other hand, I think all the complaining and strategies which are in the grey area of the rules takes focus from the real performers of the rally. The overall winner was Thierry

Whatever you do, don’t take Rally Sweden away from us

It is in order to reflect the production cars, while manufacturers want to show off their EV technology. IMG and WorldRX never really cared about being politically correct, they still have grid girls...

Absolutely necessary to make this move. Car manufacturers want to show off their electric car technology, and there is no better place than rallycross. I’ve been hoping that we won’t see a standardized carbon chassis though, but rather production vehicle chassis like today. That would allow manufacturers to develop

He’s probably giving sponsor rides too.

Tires with huuge studs, and magic. You don’t need skis with such a car though, I recommend you do as Mads Østberg

Why are you referring to Vauxhall, and not Opel? They are sold as Opel everywhere in Europe apart from the British Isles, and I guess you want the LHD model?

My first car was one, with a SOCH 4G63 and 4x4. Awesome winter car, thought I was Tommi Mäkinen for two years. Sold it to someone who was more of the Colin McRae type, and it was wrecked six months afterwards.

I can agree to that they solved a different problem, but I still find the feature cool.

Well, Citroën improved sun visors with their C4 Picasso

Petter Solberg in 1998 was something else. Only his second year in rallying, dominating the national championship and earning a factory seat through good performances in WRC/ERC with an old Celica.
