The regular Yaris is enough, though we can always hope that the rally version will give improvements to the road version.

I have a feeling that opinion will soon be popular.
Yes, and that all rear wings are the same!
To be more precise a number divided by zero is converging towards infinity (i.e. a very large number), but never actually reaching infinity?
It’s AWD like all WRC cars.
Petter Solberg must have a hand in that rear wing development..
It’s a rig built for clearing snow off a frozen lake racetrack. The narrow studded tires are the same as they use in rallying, like the photo above. They are narrow both to not float on top of the loose snow, and to exert more pressure on each stud giving more grip from the ice.

They are rally tires with ice studs, that truck is used for clearing snow off a frozen lake. They are narrow to put more pressure on each stud, which then gives more traction.
Yep.
Case of bad Habitz I guess
That’s a 240 GLT, not a D. There was no such thing as a 240 D, the closest are either the DL (de Luxe, second trim level) or the D6, with a 6 cylinder VW D24 diesel engine.
That’s awesome! I was hooked by rallycross when I was about 5 as well (back in the golden 90's), probably a good age to start.
Several other drivers made the same move this weekend, though mostly without this kind of contact.
Kristoffersson even led the semifinal for well over a lap with a rear left puncture! He had Petter Solberg, Ken Block and Liam Doran pushing behind, but had to give in just a couple of laps before the checkered flag.
FIA World Rallycross is also available on Youtube in certain countries (like the US). Stream starts in an hour!
For a daily driver? 80 hp per 1000 kg.
Seriously, that is one mean looking Yaris.
That rear wing.
It also isn’t a surprise because they have entered WTCC for a full season now, and also still runs three cars in STCC. Looks like they reconsidered their departure from motorsport..
