Might as well be any of the other drivers running one of the new M-SPORT Fiestas in Finland, such as Martin Prokop and Henning Solberg. The video says Tanak and Evans, but only M-SPORT knows for sure who drove that car.

Yep, that’s the next step for the US. You see them popping up everywhere in South America now though, so shouldn’t be too far away?
Nice put, though it describes rallycross in general, not just Global Rallycross. Go to a local event and you might find that they have a better track and more action, even if the cars are slower.
A rallycross event held at a proper, permanent track. They are usually built with natural around the track, where you can see the whole track. At places like Höljes and Hell (part of the World Rallycross Championship) there are also camping areas around the track, where you find concerts and other parties. The racing…
Didn’t even think he would make it this far after that horrific crash. Hopefully we’ll learn something from this.
Audi is heavily involved in DTM? I think more Audi money for Ekström in WorldRX is more likely right now.
Something like this? Mattias Ekström runs a pair of S1’s in the World Rallycross Championship, so the chassis is already involved in motorsport.
Or just make permanent rallycross tracks, shaped like an amphitheatre. Like Höljes in Sweden, or Loheac in France:
In rallycross, there’s an alternative, slower route called the joker lap, that every driver has to take once every race. Hansen in the blue Peugeot waited until the last lap, and Ekström in the Audi had taken the joker the first lap. It was introduced to make passing more frequent in rallycross, as well as bringing…
There was quite a response from the crowd, considering that everyone is Scandinavian and had a massive hangover. As well as being part of the crowd, I’ve seen a video without commentary, and you could clearly hear the crowd together with the cars.
Even someone in our camp brought a sofa, so it’s a regular thing. Mostly in the camping area though. I think the best choice this weekend was an inflatable pool, as temperatures reached 30C several times.
We’ve got three historic venues on the schedule for the weekend
By Scandinavian standards, that was pretty wild. Especially considering that everyone had a massive hangover.
From a spectator standpoint, he looked pretty pissed. And rightly so, it seems.
Well, there surely was a lot of them this weekend. I lost count before the first heat finished...
Great end to a great weekend of racing! I was in the 40 000 people crowd when that happened, it’s fair to say that all of them went nuts. Both Ekström and Hansen would be worthy as winners in my opinion, as they were two of the fastest this weekend. That last pass from Hansen was just a little bit too much..
Well, we always see lots of passing on this track. During this weekend I saw a pass in every single corner on the track, several times. Not much beats mid-air contact though!
Timing for this article couldn’t be better, as I’m packing for my trip to Sweden and WolrldRX right now! Almost forgot towels and a backpack. Bringing food, water and beer is obligatory there though.
I know I am. They’re both offered in Subarus, but one is better than the other in most ways. A 1.0-1.6 Turbo gas engine in a Subaru will of course get better numbers, but they don’t offer that.
Interesting how a Peugeot driven by Rupert Grints brother can be as high as 15th.
