This looks awesome! And why hasn’t the F&F franchise ever involved a crazy V8-swapped Lada or something?

I have a friend that used to put the gear lever in neutral all the time. The car was a manual...

Pretty sure all of those former (and current) rally drivers have a collection of cars from their career, plus the occassional exotics and hoonmachines. For example, Petter Solberg still has (repurchased) the Volvo 242 he used in national rallycross 20 years ago, as well as a lot of Subarus and a few Citroëns.

I own one, it might be the cheapest way to get the same feeling you get in a P1800. It still has that old engine and simplicity, but different looks. It still looks old, but more like the late 60’s sport sedan way. Also don’t forget the Amazon, Volvo basically just crafted a new body on this to make the P1800.

That's Marcus Grönholm though, but one of the best stage-end interviews ever. Mäkinen was always a bit more understated.

Fun fact: Before Tommi Mäkinen started rallying, he was crowned national ploughing champion. Twice.

That top video must be the most Finnish video ever made.

I'm sure the team would sell you the bodykit, but I'm not sure if it would be very durable since they use several bumpers and fenders in one race weekend.. Made to be easy to change, not normal wear and tear.

Rallycross differs a lot in terms of engine and drivetrain solutions, so in some cases where they mount the engine longitudinal the best solution is the dual exhaust. One of the most recent examples (where it was obvious) was Liam Doran's old Citroën DS3, here driven by Henning Solberg last year.

What is the greatest passing race ever caught on video? Ovals obviously not included.

Also, KE70. Might have been designed in the 70's, but the most common small RWD Toyota for me.

Many would say best Opel for sale, regardless of location.

Mhm, thats my impression as well. They're very quiet, only EV's can beat them in that department. While fuel economy has improved, it's not that good compared to the alternatives. The diesel is about 5 MPG better, but makes a bit more noise as well.

Okay, thanks. I haven't driven it, but by the stats it already seems outdated.

The Right Spec: 2.5i Premium with Eyesight pack for $25,785

I can actually understand this. The Mirage is an honest vehicle, not pretending to be something it's not. It's also very cheap.

I remember this from my childhood. I have no idea where I saw it though, but it's not from the internet and not from a game...

Looks like the narrower studded rally tires? Not that they originals would be much wider, this is a small car.

It's a mid-engined car that weighs under one ton, has over 500 hp from its twin-charged (turbo and supercharged) four-cylinder, and is designed to race on dirt, snow, and ice. Group B rally cars are certifiably insane, and the Delta S4 embodies that insanity perfectly.
