If I ever get to be a rally driver, I would be in the Volvo class. Pretty much the cheapest way to get into rallying, and probably the funniest too!
The Chevrolet Opala SS.
Hat tip also to Laird Andy McBratlie. Great minds think alike, but on different parts of the day.
What bout Volvos take on the general purpose military vehicle, the L3314?
It would have been NP for me if it was AWD.
I visited Ferrari several years ago, and it was quite a special feeling to be in Maranello. The town is literally obsessed about Ferrari, and the museum is packed with icons.
In rally, yes. Basicly because he's the only one to compete in the WRC. Tanner Foust has been way more successfull in rallycross, both in the European Championship and GRC. I've never really followed Pastrana. However, I know he's done all sorts of stuff, but never been at top level in rallying.
You're saying no, but I can't see any arguments against what I said? DC Shoes was founded way before Ken Block appeared in rallying.
To be honest, he joined the WRC while there were only two manufacturer teams. Only two former World Champions were driving. He never got on the podium.
Isn't Ken Block just a rich guy that has rallying as a hobby?
I remember she got some attention here in Europe as well back in the earlier days. It's impressive to get where she's at no matter if you're a boy, girl or transgender. I'd love to see her in a different series though, as NASCAR isn't something I want to stay up all night for.
Could be worse?
Great news, will be interesting to see if any drivers don't do donuts after a win now.
That's awesome, but looks quite dangerous as well. At least for the cameraman.
It's hard to tell without further inspection, kind of depends how much erosion you have in the cave systems below.. And if this network is that large, it might be hard to find a safer place for a museum.
Sinkholes are way cool, but I wouldn't want to build anything holding valuable stuff on top of such areas. Not sure about the geology of the here, but I'm sure there was a better place availible.
You mean the incident when Mads Østberg nearly clipped a spectator helping Roberg Kubica?
Good thing is the snow probably provided a soft landing.
