Whatever Mercedes has to offer, I guess:

Norway loves electric cars because there are no taxes on them compared to regular cars. You can also drive them in bus lanes, which is why people in the larger cities love them. It's not because they're good cars.

Well if you're buying an Ascona for rally you want an A or B, the C wasn't really used in rally. For some weird reason the C has started to go up in price now, but I have no idea why. In my view it's one of the most boring cars of the 80's.

If I really have to, I'll take an Ascona C Cabriolet..

Seriously, it's not that bad in an overtaking situation. The six-speed gearbox allows it to have the right RPM's at most of the time. It's not that fast from 0-60 but it's decent from 60-100.

Yeah, that's a good question for the future. Biggest engine compared to the engine bay.

Sure, the Superb is an even bigger car. But it seems to me that the front end, and the engine bay, is the same size as the Passat? Not sure how that affects the answer, because it's still a very small engine in a big car.

Both generations Ford Granada came with a 1.7 litre 70hp 4-cylinder. The Mk1 were also offered with a 302 V8 for a couple of years, and bigger swaps have been made.

Good point, the Passat also has the 1.6 diesel variant.

Also, the W124 Mercedes 200D with just above 70 hp. It might be a 2.0, but it sure is low on power for a rather big Mercedes.

The Volvo V70/S80 is sold new with a 115 hp 1.6 turbodiesel. It's not that bad actually, but it's a very small engine in a very large car by European standards. Kind of amusing since you could get the S80 with a small V8.

Impressive how the Celica keeps up with the Audi. However, I really doubt that Audi would be a competitor for the big guys in this video (the first race) from the same event:

4wd does this for me. Would love to have a manual transmission though, but I can get autos to work as well.

They're cutting corners in the way that they're using a lot of Golf in the A3. They're not cutting corners in the interior as far as I know, I suppose that's where the difference would be.

I like the red colour that you get on all nev Volvo's. It's got so much glow and really amplify the lines in mye view.

I've never driven under the influence, but I've seen a couple of guys do it. There are always someone that's not drinking that can drive us to the party and back home. Makes for some fun trips, I remember one time that we were 8 people in a Toyota Auris (compact hatchback) for 30 km. Or when we were seven people in

Ford P100

I agree as well, my summer daily driver, a 1970 Volvo 142, is an absolute joy of driving. You hear all the noise of the engine, feel every bump, the steering is heavy, the brake pedal is hard, and the car responds to every little thing you do. Everything feels mechanical and honest, not like in a new car where
