Put a little schmear of butter on one saltine and the peanut butter on the other and then put them together. Or for those times when you get to the end of the sleeve with an odd number of crackers, do a triple decker with peanut butter and butter.

Oyster crackers over saltines is a bad take. Who ranks crackers by their ability to be a mediocre noodle in a soup that doesn’t need it?

Goddammit why can’t Deadspin just stick to spor

It seems hypocritical to keep referring to it as an egg and not a chicken.

I’d suggest that white feminists quit using the phrase “I don’t see color/ethnicity.” That would be a good start. I hate when I hear/read people saying that. Culture and skin color is really important to most of us non-white people. In many ways, it shapes us. Acknowledging that we’re all different is okay.

Not even that, all they had to do was add one more word and they wouldn’t have had a ton of the issues they had. Imagine this:

I did go to the march in LA, but I was on the fence about going the whole week leading up to it. My coworkers who are all safety pin wearing white neoliberals asked me why I was considering not going, and I was completely honest with them. I basically had to explain that I don’t feel like I’m in solidarity with white

This is a black woman talking about her experience as a woman of color in this movement, and all you can see is democrats, liberals, and the left. It’s so simple for you isn’t it? This is about white privilege, not party affiliation.

Most were saying, “Not this white woman,” or “No one I know!” I’d say, “[Fifty-three percent] of white women voted for Trump. That means someone you know, someone who is in close community with you, voted for Trump. You need to organize your people.”

*sigh*

So ironic that the candidate least suited to address these issues was the only one smart enough to campaign on them.

Dealing with grief is a 12-step process. Fortunately, Westbrook took 5 whole steps tonight.

That’s the problem these days in a nutshell: too many dumbshits triggered by civility.

I don’t experience microaggressions because...Duh duh duuuuh.. I don’t ascribe my perceptions to their motive. It’s called compassion, understanding, and tolerance. If you treat every slight as the ultimate abuse...Then when a truly offensive situation occurs, you’re desensitized.

You’ve never been to Azle, I take it. I have, and I fully believe my take on the situation is possible, if not probable.

She was told her actions were insensitive, she realized her mistake, and she immediately apologized. It’s revealing you assume her actions were motivated by malice when it’s much more likely to be ignorance.

This woman deserves to be told that her actions were insensitive so that she can learn from her mistakes
