A certain product line I work on has a 10" capacitive touchscreen. We choose not to implement multi-touch/pink-to-zoom because of royalty fees and patent issues. I hope these ridiculous patents get shut down. It really is silly, being able to patent things like this.

I used proclean on my old dumbphone after it got washing machined. Set in it a pool of the stuff, swished it around to clean out the residue, and it worked fine. I still use it as an alarm clock to this day. Not sure if it'll eat the glue away from smartphones or not... but if it comes down to a device working…

Nope. PC's are always the best spec-wise. Consoles take a year to work out the silicon they'll use/manufacture and get to sell... meanwhile, PC's get upgraded every 6 months and get at least 2x as fast every jump. (Usually at least. I'm no PC gamer, but that's just the tech/dev cycle.)

Microsoft, it's a real jerk move to make me pay for Live to watch Netflix (that I pay for), on my internet connection (that I pay for). Not to mention you don't even have servers to host the stupid games.
