I think it's not the personality that it lacks, but decent lore. It's a nice game, it needed so little to become really fantastic.

That must be connection related, I often play on worse hardware with no lag at all (except peak hours, right before disconnected).

Honestly, I don't think that hardware really matters for D3. Even my old machine with a HD5770 and only 2 gigs of ram can run it just fine. It's the connection which causes all the trouble. For my single player game. And the error isn't even on my side, if you get what I mean.

US was the default even with a European account, dunno why, and I didn't check it. But I was unable to login to an EU server for a long time anyway. It's ok though, no lag, no queue, _when_ the servers aren't down.
