King's Bounty, if I have any time.

I'd give this a try but I'm afraid of addiction, I was able to escape from WoW just recently.

Coulrophobia is an abnormal or exaggerated fear of clowns.

@cesariojpn: I actually had to scroll back up to see what kind of plants you were talking about.

If you see a cat with a giant head you're gay.

@GasBandit: My gf got this small thing you have to put in your ears, which generates white noise. Something like this.

@Smartchoy: I really don't know what to think. Most doctors said this is ear-related, they didn't even mention brain.

@nick111: I really, really hope you're wrong.

@Wiggo Björck: My girlfriend's ringing started right after a very long and loud party and it got worse since that. Still, there may be different kind of ringings around... dunno, the doctors we have visited have been mostly clueless.

@Mikekearn has an overly long username: I'm not a doctor neither an expert on this, but I'm afraid they're connected. My girlfriend, who has a pretty serious case as it seems, keeps losing her hearing for short periods. Especially after parties, even if she tries to avoid very loud music.

I'm kinda surprised how many of Kotaku commenters suffer from this... I didn't think it's this common. What did cause your problems if you don't mind (and if you know the reason)?

@Zabant: If the process isn't dangerous and can be repeated this still could be better than hearing that ringing all the time.

Someone in my family has this for years and she says it's damned annoying, you get used to it or go crazy. I really hope this reset-stuff isn't as dangerous as it sounds, it's only for the media.

@KaMai: Thanks everyone.

@Mike Ott: Mmm yes, you are in a better position though, as you have an IT-related job. You can just go freelance — that's what I did years ago when I got sick of too many things, so I'm a freelancer designer/developer now. It has it's drawbacks too, still if you feel you should change, do it.
