We should start an article: "Ask us about designing for the automotive industry and we will give vague responses."

I have a feeling you are in a similar boat as me. I want to say a whole bunch but I don't know how much I can.

Do you mean asthetics design? I do engineering design (performance oriented). R&D so mostly lower production specialized vehicles. Some you guys seem to talk about a lot lately which is cool ... like a certain American sports car with an anticipated engine upgraded model (which has positive comments), and a Fuel

I've worked with a few different companies (including Renault) and although each has their own style at the end of the day this is pretty accurate. And this is just for a single component, I can't imagine an entire vehicle.

These are really cool! HOWEVER, I saw one in good condition for sale over in Nova Scotia for $1500. That was a reasonable price.

The Bertone X1/9 story was amazing.

Great pic! Thanks for finding that.

You are amazing! Thanks.

Can someone tell me the make of this lift? ... from the other pics it looks like maybe minLIFT-2K?

That truck in the picture looks stupid, but a small pickup truck is amazing.

That one looks great! I'm a fan of the Scout but something about this one.

Is there a "preparing for the Zombie apocalypse" option?

That link for hysterical strength has a great anecdote on the bottom of the first page:

Most of the weight is in the front of these, and right where she was lifting so a lever action isn't going to do that much PLUS the suspension in the other corners is going to be fighting against her.
