I just hope they don't forget Galactica 1980. I think Robbie Rist is available.

A very common criticism of fantasy (that it's nothing but characters traveling around and getting into and out of trouble), but that pretty much describes 99% of all fantasy, action, and science fiction movies (exchange walking with driving, flying, zooming through space, etc.)...
Yep - and Wikipedia is our Encyclopedia Galactica...oh my.
10 statements of impossibility in one place - I'll make sure the guys over at permanent.com archive your page for future use: http://www.permanent.com/infamous-quotes.html
After all the ribbing Jackson took over leaving Tom Bombadil out of LOTR - it would certainly be fitting and kind of funny to see him pop up at some point in The Hobbit.
I still wonder if they're hoping to make that rumored transitional film that will fill in and connect The Hobbit with The Fellowship of the Ring. Guillermo del Toro talked about a film that would include Aragorn as a main character and end as Gandalf is making his way to the Shire for Biblo's birthday party. While…
The premise of the original was that Munsters thought they were normal but everyone else were freaks. That was the joke with their niece, Marilyn, the "ugly duckling" of the clan who they always pitied and felt sorry for because she was so freakishly unattractive. It was a clever hook and was exploited to maximum…
And it's not like directors ever intentionally misdirect the press and fans in the process of trying to bring a film or series of films to the public unspoiled. I still feel like Peter Jackson is keen on making that once rumored transitional film that draws from the appendixes of LOTR.
And I'm guessing the fat guy with glasses is the smart one who knows what is REALLY going on...so yeah, throw another yawn in there for me.
Revolution - a group of racially and ethnically diverse (not to mention well dressed and very clean) survivors led through the post-"event" world by two attractive middle class white people fraught with sexual tension...yawn...double yawn...it will be gone by mid-season.
Well, after watching Drive a few weeks ago, I couldn't help but feel that Ryan Gossling had the quiet kind of cool necessary to play Shadow...
What's the status on Neil Gaiman's American Gods? I heard Tom Hanks was attached to it at one point.
Madea Goes to Space...um, yeah.
Andrew Garfield has a freakishly long neck.
EXACTLY - there are those voices that work, that seem natural and there are those that sound like someone intentionally trying to speak with a deep, gruffy voice. Sorry to say, as much as I like Karl Urban, his voice fits the latter (as does Bale's in Nolan's otherwise flawless Batman films).
Apparently the criticism about Christian Bale's ridiculous Batman voice has again been ignored. And what this trailer needs are more slow motion shots...yeah, that's it.
A trailer for a trailer...surely you see where this is going.
Now that George Lucas has gone to his garage to make personal home movies or something - is there hope that he won't be involved in any way in Indiana Jones 5?
Still no love for LOST - the first season cliff hanger, ending with the opening of the hatch - the second season premiere...what was IN the hatch? Tell me that wasn't one of TV's greatest cliffhanger payoffs ever!
Do you honestly think Hollywood would allow a tent pole blockbuster to star a non-white person , assuming of course that Will Smith is unavailable?
