You know what's worse? That I've never ever heard of Pele before in my life. And I'm almost 30.

Awesome lineup. FYI, though, Evan, this one was listed twice.
He gave up those rights the moment he pulled that trigger. I have no sympathy for him, nor do I think he should get any*.
I'm looking at the names of the trainer's pokemon and I am pleased.
You make the assumption that we want someone like him back in society. Why on earth should he be?
I AM LEGION, FOR WE ARE MANY.
I'm with you on the 'mistakes' nonsense. Mistake implies accidental. Intentional stupidity is never done as a mistake.
I'll keep that in mind, thanks. I watched the video on Humble's page, and it looked intriguing. And if it's a game that is heavily bent toward collecting, consider me an OCD riddled gamer ready to grab everything he can.
The only online gaming community I'm really interacting with on a daily basis (apart from Kotaku) is WoW. I'm in a rather family friendly guild, with plenty of couples as fellow guildies (my wife plays as well). It might just be because we typically weed out assholes before they have the chance to cause major douche…
I would be one of them. But I already had Brutal Legend, so $1 just net me three cool looking games I've never played. (yes, shame on me for not playing Psychonauts)
There are some Steam games which can be controller-play and can split-screen. I myself don't play them, but, then again, the games found on consoles my wife and I would be interested in playing are usually multiplayer, be it SSB on the Wii, Halo, etc. On PC, she and I play WoW on separate accounts, and I'm not sure…
Well if you wanna be cheap and forget multiplayer with anyone else in your household, sure. I, for one, find it a necessity to not anger the wife, and thus find a second controller a necessity. D:
I just added up the parts I need to upgrade my PC from the list above, stripping out most of the outdated ware and throwing in new and better parts. Keeping my case, keyboard, and mouse, as well as using my TV as my monitor, I'd be spending about $827. Looking at Best Buy, I'd easily throw down $500 that could pass…
A custom PC is still cheaper regardless, going with my original estimates. :)
Should I spend $500 on a so-so computer and another $500 on a gaming console (not including accessories), or should I spend $800-900 on building a custom gaming computer that can A) play most modern games at decent to high graphics, B) appease all of my webbernet cravings, C) do most everything else a console cannot…
I'm considering building a new PC in the near future and am curious about liquid cooling. Is there a certain threshold in processing power of which I should be mindful in whether to use coolant fans or not? I've not had to use one before and am a bit nervous about water around my electronics. O.o
I have to agree with you. I walk into a Transformers movie expecting robots, action, and explosions, and that's exactly what I get. These aren't Shakespeare, people. Set your bar a bit lower and you might enjoy them.
I guess I don't get it. The idea of "F2P" and "Pay to win" is wrought with anger and vitriol each time I come across it in Kotaku Talkbacks, yet there's just as much vitriol, it seems, for sub fees. What gives?
I'm a player myself and immensely enjoy the game. The sheer numbers of members, literature, and text are mind-boggling. There's enough lore to dig through to last a nerd a lifetime.
