Would someone mind explaining to me, in layman's terms, what the issue is with this Dennis Dyack? I'm seeing a lot of flack about him in the comments, but I've no clue as to who he is or what he's done to deserve so much ire. Something about a lawsuit and asking for government funding? O.o

I agree with truthtella above. The point was not "be happy you're making a wage," it's "be understanding that there are no handouts." You earn what you work for, and if you want more, you work more.
