That’s a shame, really like Red vs Blue and usually binge the new season whenever its out. Do hope the team starts something new and goes back to the basics of what RvB was. Not the wild spin offs with insane animations and new characters (as cool as they were). But a small group/gang just messing around.

You’re right, it was a pretty bad choice of words. Still Hbomb’s investigation into the “plagiarist’s content mill” on Youtube made waves and others releasing their own essays on how Somerton stole from them. Somerton did what one expects who relies on their plagiarism content mill: took a break, pretended to be

I will never understand the apologists for Mass Effect 3's ending.

This is exactly right. All of the choices you made up to this point, the plot branches you completed and how you completed them, wound up not mattering at all.

Early Red V Blue was peak entertainment

TIL that Rooster Teeth was owned by fucking Warner Bros?!

That’s what always has stuck in my craw, as it were.

Now playing

RWBY is pretty popular, but it is a roller-coaster of inconsistent-but-mostly-bad quality that would make mainstream longrunning anime blush. They tried a little too hard to turn it into a full-merchandised franchise from its popularity when the show has very VERY noticeable problems in its writing, worldbuilding, and

The problem with the endings is that Mass Effect was pitched as having meaningful choices with persistent, long-term consequences. The endings should have been the culmination of the choices you made across the three games.

I had absolutely no idea Red vs Blue was still around.  Thought for sure that ended some time not longer after Halo 3 came out.

“Organics and synthetics can’t live together in harmony”

To me, the big problem with the ME3 ending was that Mass Effect was defined by binary choices - the ethics aren’t always clear, one isn’t “evil” while the other is “good”, but they at least feel consistent. Paragon vs Renegade. A Paragon frees the Rachni Queen because she and the rachni deserve to be free, a Renegade

Nope, it sucked. Even the extended ending was still bad.

It did ambiguity badly. It also shoehorned in a revelation and debate “AI and biologicals can’t co-exist” that you could literally disprove if you’d done the previous missions correctly. And it tossed aside any real consideration of the thoughts or decisions

Serious question: is RWBY broadly considered “bad”?

Mass Effect 3 ending discussion? In 2024?

Hopefully we see RT sold off at some point. I would love for a Smosh style return to form where the creatives buy back the company.

Oh I know, I caught that little nod, I was just hoping maybe Chief would’ve asked about other Spartan teams and been told Noble is MIA, or at that point KIA, or something, oh well, not a big deal.

I mean, the first mission of Reach is investigating the Visegrad relay—which is where the show decided to kill Cobalt team off-screen and then gaslight Chief into going maverick investigating.

That didn’t even cross my mind and now I’m disappointed there wasn’t an easter egg for them.

I’m enjoying the new season, a bit bummed we didn’t get a Noble Team easter egg during all the Reach shenanigans though, oh well.
