I’m sorry, I think you mean the force laugh of “the star player of the Zanarkand Abes” or “you”, because they never figured out an elegant way to put Tidus’s name in the game (because it was voice acted, but also because you could still change it).

Final Fantasy X so they can properly play the best one, Final Fantasy X-2. /thread
Smart. Very smart. AAA publishers are only going to get worse, so it’s important to keep your franchises/IPs and cut loose in this day and age. It’s going to be tough without the rich sociopaths’ money, but in this industry the AAA model is just not sustainable with little to gain as a dev.
Many games will provide daily bonuses, often with increasing values the more a player logs in over the course of a calendar month, or with a day-specific bonus schedule. As such, such games will also show a calendar. And yes, these calendars are often (stupidly) hard-coded.
It’s really stupid that this is happening, time is not a new concept, it’s been around since the dawn of time.
I’m not a game developer, but I am a software developer, so my response is: come on guys.
Huh, it’s an interesting observation that the logo looks like the ultimate weapon. I took it to be hinting at the existence of an “A” legendary (the Z is textured like Zygarde, similar to the X and Y looking like Xerneas and Yveltal), but who knows.
Definitely just being used as the catch-all for the different Nintendo Switch systems currently on the market today. The much more suspicious thing, which likely does point to a hypothetical console release being moved from later this year to early next year, is the total lack of anything Pokémon-related being…
I just want to point out that “Nintendo Switch systems” doesn’t necessarily mean anything regarding the Switch 2 - there are currently three “Nintendo Switch systems”, the OG Nintendo Switch, the Nintendo Switch Lite, and the Nintendo Switch (OLED Model). This may well be a Switch 2 launch title or whatever, but this…
Just gonna copy my comment from Polygon ‘cos I’m lazy:
IP ownership is often a very misunderstood topic, and often one that requires digging for information.
If the smash success of Elden Ring doesn’t mean they farm Blooodborne for every drop they can get - Sony is insane.
Did not hurt Demon’s Souls or Bloodborne...
Oh, sure! All they have to do is yell “Convert! Upscale! ENHANCE!!” at it and snap their fingers and it’s done! Easy-peasy! Of course!
all it takes is one power-tripping executive with an irrational vendetta

Disclaimer: Sony could be insane.
That’s a very optimistic take. He might know for a fact that Sony has zero intention to do anything with the IP, and he can’t talk about that either, we don’t know.
The wishlist for Bloodborne is a release on steam and 60 fps support for console and PC. Anything more than that would be icing on the cake. This also would line up with Playstation’s current motiviations of getting their games on pc.....but we’ll see I guess.
i stan mid games. one of my faves from last year was wanted: dead, a game so aggressively mid that i’m sure barely anyone played or even remembers it. what happened with suicide squad is something different imo. it, at least from the outside looking in, feels like a game built to chase a deadend trend in the hopes of…
RIP Rocksteady. Cause of death AT&T+Zazloff+other idiots who don’t know how to run a game division.
