That’s a Tech Priest, not a Space Marine
That’s a Tech Priest, not a Space Marine
Indirectly, to keep the movie rights for Spider-Man.
Even if you were weird enough to expect an answer from your cat, it would be strange to ask them if they’ve heard of something, then say “me neither” if they hadn’t!
I don’t know, seems like Dakota Johnson seems like the perfect choice for projects like these. Case in point: 50 Shades Trilogy. All you need a photogenic recognizable name who will soldier through an awful script and only seem vaguely embarrassed to be there. She’s your go-to when you’re trying to spin hot garbage…
OH FUCK despite your description I was NOT READY for what I saw when I scrolled down that image.
I mean they’re making money I would think not to mention being in a a real marvel production doesn’t mean you’ll be in a well received one either.
I really just don’t get who they made this movie for or why.
Why is Dakota Johnson being cast in anything. Her acting is stiff as a cast anyway.
They literally rewarded mediocrity
Nah. They have themselves to blame. All they’d need to do is watch a single Sony Spider-Man-Without-Spider-Man film, and they’d see these films for what they are. Hell, Morbius was huge for how much of a failure it was.
I assumed that they push out whatever they have due to the old agreement that if Sony didn’t use a Marvel character they own in a movie, the rights would revert back to Marvel.
“Spider-people. Las Aranias. Ever heard of Las Aranias?”
*cat meows*
“Me neither”.
I really wanna ask any of these actors “So you thought you were gonna be in a real Marvel movie right? I’m so sorry Sony played you.”
I suspect Sony picked her for a movie 100% purely because she’s related to the whole Spider-verse comic event thing, and looks like the only option (within what they have rights to aka don’t have to share with Marvel) that could let them set up some big multi-part saga. Within the tight confines of “just Spider-man,…
That’s not even the worst part. I’m convinced the writers have some kind of black mail over Sony. Let’s take a look at their entire filmography, shall we?
Yikes really? That’s a prime example of failing upward, good lord.
At this point I assume these movies must be some sort of producers level money grab. Or whatever licensing agreement Sony has with Marvel requires releases constantly and they are just forced to put any script they have into production.
Want the best part of this? It is the same writer, the story is made by the same person that worked on Morbius. They literally rewarded mediocrity
You realize the Morbius Re-release is one of the greatest cases of a large corporation getting punked in the history of PR.
Or it will just be a year of major new franchises? I am okay with some new IPs and not a bunch of sequels for a year.
