that 145 hours would probably be cut in half while having achieved the same amount of progress if the game wasn’t purpose built to waste time. Right down to the animations, the interface, level design, basic shit like entering and leaving the ship’s cockpit. everything about that game is trying to stretch itself out

Left without comment:

Came here to say the same thing.  Pokemon is cute animal cock fighting.

Palworld’s very naked depictions of subjugation and violence definitely make it a strange game to play at times.”

In “defense” of Eidos Montreal, being an asshole to other people is a very French Canadian thing to do, so it’s not like they were singling him out.

The internet did what the internet always does, and takes valid complaints and criticisms for something and spins it into an absolute unhinged mess. Starfield is...okay. At best it’ s a 7/10 out game. I played about 20 hours of it, during which I had fun with it. It needed to be more than that considering the amount

Funny how much of a deal this site made about Hogwarts player count dropping by much less than this after 6 months yet when its a game you don’t have a hate-on for it you say it doesn’t matter. You cant have it both ways.

Has there really been a decline in quality tho? None of the recent releases are any worse than the average release pre-IW. Some have still been amazing, some are just average, but that's always been true in the whole of the MCUs run. Not every release has to he better than what came before.

Yeah, I can envision a world where you have hitscan shots that you shoot into the ground which explode into foam after a short delay.

Or maybe a rocket launcher with a missile that explodes into foam on contact.

There’s a lot there I actively enjoy honestly, I WANT to like it so badly. The general concept is a fun riff on the Splatoon formula if it was closer to a traditional shooter. But I lost count of the times I died just because I would get stuck behind a slightly taller mound of foam and my character had no idea how to

I don’t understand? She’s just expressing confusion about why people feel like the line is so funny. I mean there’s no reason for her to want people to treat her movie like they did Morbius.

Yup! Fixed. Thanks for catching.

It looks so slow...I mean...I know soap bubbles don’t exacly zip around...but the projectiles look like they just hover for a couple seconds before doing anything...maybe if they were smaller...because they are HUGE.

It’s a neat idea in practice. In theory, it led to teams shoving their Star to the back of the map on a single high point—which is hard to reach because you have to foam up to it or use a special move—and then just camping back there. This slowed down matches and wasn’t fun at all.”

Man, those quips got old fast. There’s something to be said for Nintendo’s penchant for having characters speak in unintelligible gibberish that can be tailored for maximum appeal.

Foamstars feels like it could be a solid idea if the studio making it was good at making platformers, this type of game lives or dies based on how satisfying it is to move around at a base level. And in Foamstars it feels bad.

Do we really need an article to tell people how to play the tutorial that literally tells you what to do?

Lemme to a better job for new players than stating the on screen tutorial in slide form.

Good thing your bosses have never touched a videogame or they’d know this was basically just the tutorial that’s already in the game.

this is kind of pathetic considering these slides are literally the tutorial. i assume this is a quota “article”
