I think you’re right about self defense. I should try to encourage the women I know to do that.. I guess men too. The better we (the people trying not to be assholes) can collectively protect ourselves, the more confident we can be. More men should stand up against asshole behavior though...

Nice to see a positive note. Something like that might be worth reading to offset the generally depressing news, I think we sometimes forget that we need something to balance out the doom and gloom, or our opinions start to be come controlled by it.
