Those things are gorgeous. And dead, definitely dead by now.

Fair enough. It still looks great. I shouldn’t be looking at cars, though. I just bought one.

That’s a good deal. I’d glady buy a higher mileage example for less, though. I am seeing them for $7k-9k for high five digit mileage cars. My searching has also found a clownshoe. I am drooling.

Spending some time in the Cadillac, are you?

Fairly certain I used Raybestos basic-ass rotors from O’Reilly the last time I did brakes (14 years ago on an Escort). They worked pretty well.

Totally understandable. I never trust a tape alone, especially for critical restores.

Tape still has its uses. It is cost-effective for compliance backups. Not to mention cost-prohibitive archive/legacy data. For backups you’ll actually restore from, there’s uh, everything better.

Ultrium is dead. Long live Ultrium.

Yeah, when I drive the ND to get lunch with my 6'4" friend, he doesn’t look terribly uncomfortable as a passenger, but he probably wouldn’t be able to drive it.

Yeah, being small! It’s nice to be able to fit in a Miata.

I currently have a 10 minute commute in town. I miss my 30-minute highway commute. It was great for switching between home and work modes.

Fuck you and your flavonoids.

That’s a damn fine deal. I’ll admit my two experiences prior to the Miata were poor, as I didn’t know shit and had terrible credit. With my recent purchase, I just politely told the finance guy up front that I didn’t want the GAP. He was awesome about it and didn’t give me any trouble when I said I didn’t want the

And make sure to get the GAP insurance from your insurance company instead of the finance office. You’ll save big time. I think I pay maybe a little over 10 bucks per 6 month term for my new Miata.

Nice!

Just a hair north of $27k.

Are you psychic? I just picked this up over the weekend. New 2016 Club in Ceramic Metallic with BBS/Brembo package.

I just scored one with the BBS/Brembo package Saturday for $27k. MSRP was 328xx.

Man, my grandma had a red Eagle Summit of this vintage when I was a kid. That takes me back.
