You guys can keep the car. I’ll take those MS-01s. The car’s nice and all, but I’d rather put those wheels on my FC. I also preferred the looks of the MX-3 over the MX-6.

And yet that’s pretty much how cars are designed these days. Well, minus the yellow, of course.

A ha! Now time to rebuild it as the Ford Contour/Mondeo it was always meant to be.

Evidently this was used in Tochigi Prefecture from 1973 to 1984. It is currently displayed in Kanuma, Tochigi in a license center.

I just want to say thanks to my aunt (RIP) and uncle for driving around the St. Louis metro area trying to find one of these while trying to coordinate with my mom via payphone.

I have the opposite opinion. I think they are fucking tired and awful.

Wait, isn’t using random-ass German in their branding a Japanese thing? They copied more than the car’s design, methinks.

Yeah, but the RX-8 was just a subversive program by the oil industry to keep the gas station oil top-off alive.

It’ll be fine, being a state capital and having a significant part of the economy based on healthcare specialists. Everybody around it is fucked, though. Then again, they’ve already been fucked since the ‘80s/’90s; it’s just been a slow glide down.

“Good luck in the future when cashiers are replaced entirely! You’re likely to have a melt down in the next 10-15 years.

Yeah. I didn’t run into any car that couldn’t start in 2nd until I got my current Mazda 2 with its long-ass 2nd gear. I mean, you can barely start in second, but you either have to give it a ton of gas and burn the clutch a bit, or let the clutch shudder or engine nearly stall.

I don’t support a $15 minimum wage - just one tied to inflation. Still, stop pretending a $15 minimum wage was going to bring in automated kiosks and robots. Those things are going to show up soon anyway.

I’m not sure. The last time I researched the topic was at least three transmissions ago.

That sounds like the price tag of an automated system that will interface with whatever control/reporting systems they have in place to tweet out status updates and such. I’d say that’d be the price of a custom solution, but when you have such a niche piece of software, the vendor can charge whatever they want for it.

Most def. I don’t even live in a high population area, and my local craigslist has at least one nice-ass Trinitron/Wega per month.

That’s odd. You’d think most IT security folks worth their salt would want a vehicle that didn’t have any wireless communications.

It’s a fun car, definitely. Sadly for mine, I have an eye on a BRZ, 86, Fiesta ST, or a Miata. She’s served me well, though.

Ouch. At least it’s “only” a 6.9. 東北がんばって!
