I can even deal with that. My biggest complaint is that they screwed up the swipe left and right in the Pokemon screen on Android. I actually have to drag my finger from one edge to the other to change Pokemon. Quick swipes don’t work anymore.

It’d still work. There’s only one version (at least on Android), and regions are controlled by the App Store/Play Store region. Since your region doesn’t change when you go overseas (tied to SIM for Play Store), he could play all he wanted. But maybe it was porn...
