I doubt he’ll run the company into its grave. Japanese companies don’t work that way. He may try to run it into his grave, but he’ll still want it to last until retirement. His liveliness depends upon it. After all, the “job/company for life” is still a thing in some parts around there.

Nope. They’d just spend another two thousand more on AWD and feel they’ve done their due diligence. The sample size is small, but I’m the only person I know around here with winter tires. I’ve only seen a handful more. I will grant many pickup owners credit for having M+S ATs, but that’s a different discussion…

I can’t tell you how many arguments I’ve had with people at work who tell me they don’t need winter tires because they have AWD. These are not dumb people either. It’s like they just switch the brain off or something.

Face it people: AWD and winter tires is better than 2wd and winter tires.

To their credit, the town isn’t exactly rife with security risks - just the occasional unruly ED customer. They can at least handle that. They also get a bitchin’ gator.
