I agree completely, except I never thought Defund the Police was especially snappy. And PR and messaging should never open the door for the opponent, which is exactly what DTP did most effectively.

Yup, it’s why democrats didn’t do better this election. Repubs saw it and jumped on it - they’re pretty literal - with way more force than democrats.

That and “Lock Her Up!” and “Build the Wall!” Both ideas conveyed are awful but the sloganeering was super effective.
