This is why the xbox one can't possibly be the center of your AV setup. HDMI CEC has tons of differences depending on the mfg and while Sony can operate with all its products if you have a mixed system of stuff HDMI CEC and even just IR control is not so simple. My PS3, Sony Bravia, Sony Audio system all interact flawlessly, passing data over HDMI- I can control my PS3 with my TV remote for example. Sony does a really good job making all their stuff inter-operable.

Now can we make all these gizmos interact with each other flawlessly? Stream, share, etc....B/c that would be incredible. Imagine using an Xperia phone, tablet, Vita as a PS3/4 controller, universal remote, 2nd screen a'la what Wii U thought it could do...etc...
